Whatever your role in life – Leader, Founder, VP of Sales – if you are striving to find personal & professional excellence this book is a recommended starting point.

Provoking you to think about your authentic path (and to have the skills to really chase that down) the book will challenge you to reset how you define your path alongside validation sought from others.

We do tend to index to the views of others: opinions matter, of course.

We do worry about what others are thinking or change change behavior to seek approval of someone. We might take action that rubs against our values to reduce criticism. Or we’ve had situations where our prime driver has been to fit in, but we’ve been inauthentic.

In all, the book helps to reposition your goals, double down on those that are authentically yours and, recognize where social frameworks are helpful, and where they may hinder.

Balanced with an accessible discussion about the science and, with practical excises to reflect the book in written in a genuinely warm tone that will give you the tools to reassess, pause to reflect and free yourself up.
